GCUF Jobs 2025 has announced new teaching job opportunities for Pakistani nationals. Applications are invited for the posts of Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Lecturer, and Demonstrator on regular and contract basis. These positions are available in different faculties such as Sciences, Engineering, Information Technology, Arts & Design, Law, Social Sciences, Medical Sciences, and Management Sciences at the Main Campus and Sub-Campuses of the University.
The jobs are offered under different pay scales (BPS-16 to BPS-21) with allowances as per government rules. Candidates must fulfill the HEC eligibility criteria according to their discipline and position level.

Government College University Faisalabad Visiting Faculty Jobs 2025 Eligibility Criteria:
Education: Electronics / Electrical (major in Electronics) / Computer Science qualification.
Age: 18 to 35 years
Minimum CGPA 3.0 or above
Must be a Pakistani national

Professor (BPS-21):
The position of Professor is offered on a regular or contract basis. Candidates must hold a PhD degree in the relevant field from an HEC-recognized university with significant teaching and research experience (15–20 years). They must also have research publications as required by HEC. Professors will be responsible for leading academic programs, supervising research, and contributing to policy and curriculum development.
Associate Professor (BPS-20):
This post is also available on a regular or contract basis. Applicants must possess a PhD in the relevant discipline with at least 10 years of teaching/research experience in HEC-recognized institutions. They should also have HEC-required publications. Associate Professors will assist in academic leadership, research guidance, and departmental development.
Assistant Professor (BPS-19):
Candidates must have a PhD degree in the relevant field from an HEC-recognized university. For most disciplines, no prior experience is required. Assistant Professors are expected to engage in teaching, curriculum development, and research activities under the guidance of senior faculty.
Lecturer (BPS-18):
Applicants must hold an MPhil/MS or equivalent degree in the relevant subject (with at least First Class, and no third division in their academic career). Teaching experience is not mandatory. Lecturers will primarily focus on teaching undergraduate classes, assisting in research activities, and supporting departmental tasks.
Demonstrator (BPS-16):
This position requires a Master’s degree or BS (Hons) in the relevant subject. No prior experience is required. Demonstrators will mainly assist senior faculty in conducting laboratory sessions, practical demonstrations, and student guidance in specialized subjects.
